Dr. Rowena Tena, MD, is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and serves as Co-Chair of the Women's Imaging section at Imaging Healthcare Specialists. Dr. Tena earned her medical degree from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, where she also obtained a master's degree in public health from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She completed her internship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, followed by a Radiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Tena received advanced training in cross-sectional imaging, ultrasound, and image-guided procedures. She completed her Pediatric Radiology training at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and her Women's Imaging training at Magee Women's Hospital.
