Mark Schechter, MD, is board-certified in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. He earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University at Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Schechter completed his internship, Diagnostic Radiology residency where he was Chief Resident, and Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He has held several leadership roles including Chief of Radiology at Scripps Mercy Hospital and President of Radiology Medical Group. Dr. Schechter has expertise in a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. He has special interests in PET/CT oncologic imaging and in nuclear medicine/PET brain imaging for neurodegenerative and movement disorders.
