Brian Trinh, MD
Brian Trinh, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic neuroradiologist with expertise in stroke imaging, trauma, neurodegeneration, head and neck tumors, and spine imaging. Dr. Trinh serves as the Vice Chief of Radiology at Scripps Mercy Hospital, overseeing the day-to-day operations for imaging at a Level 1 trauma hospital in San Diego, California. He also serves as his group’s director of MRI, neuroradiology lead, and director of head and neck imaging. Dr. Trinh is actively involved in Scripps Health AI Committee, where he evaluates and implements new artificial intelligence products into clinical practice.
Dr. Trinh completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco, a preeminent research institution for biomedical imaging and neuroscience. There, he was actively engaged in clinical research and education with a focus on brain tumors and traumatic brain injuries.
